YMCA Viet Nam is a non-governmental organization specializing in activities to help the community

[VOLUNTEERS NEEDED]

YMCA Vietnam would like to recruit interpreters and admin for online psychology courses for the age of 15 – 18 years old.

Quantity: 5 volunteers (3 females + 2 males) + 1 admin

1. Responsibilities of Interpreters:

Provide additional learning support to students if necessary
Translate English into Vietnamese and vice versa to ensure mutual understanding between Singaporean teachers and Vietnamese students
Monitor and support the social and emotional needs of students
Help to maintain order in the classroom
Give feedback to the classroom teacher on their teaching methods and other relevant matters

Requirements:

Excellent English and Vietnamese skills, especially fluency in spoken English
Be reliable, punctual, able to work as a part of a team
Commit to being accessible for all the classes
Knowledge of psychological terminology in both English and Vietnamese is preferred

2. Responsibilities of Admin:

Assist with translating and handing out learning materials to Vietnamese students

Check and report the attendance of students to YMCA Vietnam and YMCA Singapore coordinators
